English speaking French banks
A French bank but we are speaking English too
When you come at our English speaking French banks, C/A Keyfinance will help you step by step in all your actions.
You must sign a preliminary purchase contract. For existing structures, this contract will take the form of a "compromis de vente", the equivalent of an English agreement for sale and purchase; for a new property, you will need to sign a "contrat de réservation", the equivalent of an expression of intent. If you have already signed for your new house, you will rapidly need to provide you C/A (lien sur C/A) Current account number.
As soon as you have signed your Purchase agreement or your Order, you can begin to request your French Mortgage.
A notary will prepare the deed of sale ready for your signature. There is generally a delay of approximately three months between signing the preliminary sales contact and signing the final sale deed. You should expect to pay notary and other fees when the final deed of sale is signed. => The notary will confirm to you the date of signature. To register the Title deeds the notary receives a commission. These fees, called "émoluments", are based on the purchase price. Notary fees are legally established by the Chamber of Notaries and are usually non-negotiable.
On the day of signing the Title deeds you should be in pocession of a valid house insurance contract.
